June 20, 1812 - joined the army at New Hartford, NY
July 11,1812 Marched to Sachet Harbor & Ogdensburgh under
Capt. Nathan Adams & Col. Thos. R. Benedict. Involved in other battles (artillery).
1813 -  Discharged from Army
8 March1814 - Married Philinda Cady at Frankford. NY
1815 - Bought lot 29 in Town of Lowville.
22 May 1819 son Frederick J. Dunn born.
1840 David Dunn listed in census of Town of West Turin.
1849-185l Town Clerk at Osceola, NY.
1853 now a Methodist minister - organized and was first pastor of Osceola Congregational Church.  1854 David moved to Illinois (Knox county)
December 24, 1855 applied for and received Bounty Land Warrant #35041.
Died 28 November 1884 in Galva, Illinois. Burial in Ontario Congregational Church Cemetery at Oneida, Illinois - Lot #25, Block 3, Knox County, Illinois
