"At a town meeting legally warned, assembled, and held, in said town of Harwich on Monday the seventh day of April AD 1828. Voted and made choice of Nathan Underwood Jr. town Register of Deeds agreeable to the late law inacted by the Legislature for the purpose of having old deeds recorded anew-attested Obeth Brooks town clerk (deeds copied
after fire of 1845)

Know all men by these presents that I Joseph ALLEN of Rome, County of Oneida, State of New York, yeoman, in consideration of fifty dollars to me paid by William ALLEN of Harwich County of Barnstable, mariner, the receipt whereof I
do hereby acknowledge, have remised, released and forever quit claimed so for myself and my heirs by these presents remise, release and forever quit claim unto the said William ALLEN and to his heirs and assigns, all the right to their interest which I have or may have to a certain piece or parcel of cleared land and swampy ground lying in Harwich aforesaid bounded as follows viz adjoining on the west to a cart way on the north by land of Pain ALLEN on the east by land of Pain ALLEN and on the south by land of said Pain ALLEN containing six acres be the same more or less together with all the buildings now standing on the above described premises .  To have and to hold the aforementioned premises with all the priviledges appearances thereunto belonging to him the said William ALLEN his heirs and assigns forever so that niether I the said Joseph ALLEN nor my heirs nor any other person or persons claiming from or under me or there or in the names, right, demamd of me or
there shall or will by anyway, or in cause have claim or demand any right or title to the aforesaid premises or their oppose, ? or to any part or parcel there forever.

In witness whereof I the said Joseph ALLEN have hereunto set my hand and seal
this twenty eighth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and nineteen.

State of Massachusettes, mariner, the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have remised, released and forever quit claim and as for myself and my heirs by these presents remise release and forever quit claim with the said William
ALLEN and to his heirs and assigns the one third part of all the real estate as the same described to me by the last will and testament of my father, situated in the town of Harwich Barnstable County together with all the
personal estate therein bequethed to me.
To have and to hold the afore-mentioned premises with all the priviledges appartinances thereunto belonging to him the said William ALLEN his heirs and assigns forever, so that neither I the said Joseph nor my heirs, or any other
person or persons, claiming from or under me or them or in the name, right, or stead of me or those shall or will by any way or means have claim or demand any right or title to the aforesaid premises or their apportunances, or to any part or parcel thereof forever.In witness wher of I the said Joseph ALLEN have herewith set my hair and seal this twenty first day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty.
