Herpy family gathers at the home of Mrs May
C Hines for annual Event
Poland, Sept 9.....The annual reunion
of the Herpy family was held Labor Day at the home of May C Hines. A bountiful
repast was served and a good time enjoyed in spite of the weather.
Those present were: Mr and Mrs Ray McIntosh, Mrs Carrie Fisher, Mrs May
C Hines, Miss Mildred Hines, Mr and Mrs George Cruikshank,Mrs Alice
Herpy,Walter, Fred, Loyd,Jr, Gladys, Ethel,Harriett, Ruth and Beatrice
Herpy, Deerfield: Mr and Mrs Dan Griswold and Miss Ann Griswold.Mr and
Mrs Ray Griswold and daughter Marjory, Mr and Mrs Fred Sehn, Loyd, Lynn,
Ralph, Helen,and Mary Sehn. Mr and Mrs Harold Gates and daughter Virginia
and Mr and Mrs Milton Cruikshank, Ruth, Marian and Lois Cruikshank,
Utica: Mr and Mrs J Robert Cruikshank, Anna, Mary and Hilda Cruikshank
of New Hartford.
Guests were: Frank Schiesser and Miss Constance
Hand of Utica.
Officers elected were: President, Walter
Herpy: secretary, Jennie Cruikshank: treasurer, Mary Griswold
The oldest member present was George Cruikshank:
the youngest, Marjory Griswold.
