The town of Annsville is located in the northwest
part of the county and
was formed from the towns of Lee, Florence,
Camden and Vienna,
April 12, 1823. It held it's first
town meeting on March 2, 1824.
The first white settler was John W. Bloomfield
who came from
Burlington, New Jersey in April of 1793.
The town was named after his wife.
Other early settlers of this town included
Squire Fairservice,
Adam P. Campbell, Nicholas Armstrong and
Daniel Taft.
