Marcy

The town of Marcy was settled in the spring of 1793 by John Wilson,
who came from Windsor Vermont.  Later his brothers Isaac, Jacob
and James all settled in the town and built farms.  The town was formed
from the town of Deerfield on March 30, 1832.  It held it's first meeting on
May 1, 1832 at a school house.
